this Parisian Chic home has a clean and classy atmosphere, while still managing to be bright and airy. The use of glossy black and white tiles in the foyer gives a classy but fun first impression, contrasting the warmth and serenity of the herringbone wood tiles which add texture to the space.

The use of well proportioned wainscoting and wall lighting, accompanied by the high windows, help draw the eyes upward, accentuating the high ceiling and the airiness of the space. Decorated with items of interest that the homeowner collected over the years, the space exudes class and personality.

Because the home-owners like to host smaller intimate gatherings, bifold glass windows were used at the kitchen island to make the kitchen semi open, so that they are able to entertain guests when making drinks.

Full height glass doors were used to close the kitchen during heavier cooking. The home- owners’ requirement was also not to see the common bathroom from the living room, hence we pushed back the common bedroom door area to conceal the bathroom opening.

The bathroom is inspired by the charms of speakeasy bars. The use of green glossy subway tiles, together with printed tiles and gold fittings with animal embroidery focusing on detail, brings out a luxurious atmosphere. The overall impact of design is a classy, comfortable space that exudes their personal taste of Parisian intemporal luxury.

The dining table was placed at the center of the home to ensure that it has the luxury of a double ceiling height space, drawing people toward it , making gatherings feel more comfortable. The placement of the fireplace in the same area maximizes the coverage of energy exuding from it.
